Travis Barker has released his solo album recently called Give the Drummer Some. The album features a number of collaborations that span multiple genres, something Travis has been doing for years now when not playing with Blink 182. The album features Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, RZA, Raekwon and Tom Morello. Most of the album is just ok but you really have to give it a good listen to do it justice. Unfortunately the single for the album, entitled "Saturday Night" makes me shudder, Tim Armstrong sounds horrible, in a bad way, overall the single is generally uninspired.
But more importantly, Travis teams up with Steve Aoki for the last track. The song sounds like an electro punk B-Side of Rifoki, which I'm glad for because this is what Aoki does best. So hopefully Steve will get back to electro thrashin and stop fucking around with Lil Jon'. Cheers, see you tomorrow.
