Casiokids release their second album entitled
Aabenbaringen over aaskammen ("The Revelation over the mountain") via the US label Polyvinyl. The first single called "Det Haster" (Urgency) is a return to the synthpop style Casiokids is known for. The track is a pulsing ambient tune that I imagine was inspired by being the drunkest one at a packed house party and desperately trying to find the exit, its a swaying, in your own head, mumbled voices, slow motion experience. If Aabenbaringen over aaskammen anything like Topp Stemning På Lokal Bar, then I'm sure it will be on repeat all of October.
